Clean and spacious hostel with great transport links. The location is great as it's near a park and close to the famous Szechenyi bath house as well as Heroes Square. It's about a 5-7 minute walk away from the metro stop and buses stop right in front of it too.

Word of warning though, private rooms have really thin walls and we could literally hear every snore from the people below us. Also the bathroom shower holders could be fixed as this was slightly annoying when shampooing.

The price is great for what you're getting though.

The staff were very accomodating and friendly. I felt at home at the hostel. I can use the kitchen and cooked my own food. It was really great being there. The location is not far from the Metro Station and the bus Station to go to the City.

It's the third time I've stayed there for a few days, while we enjoyed the wonderful City Budapest. This hostel has it all, a wonderful authentic ambiance, the friendliest staff who is willing to help you with everything and a warm atmosphere. You can feel at home there. It's close to the City, the public transport and opposite of the wonderful citypark. It's THE place to be!!!

Good cheap hostel in great location. Very easy to find and close to the bus stop and subway station Hösök tere. Near the Heroes Square and right in front of the hostel across the road is large parking lot where you can park your car for free. Staff in hostel was very helpful. The guy who was there showed us whole facility and into the details explained subway and buses roads and key things on map. Hostel is clean beds were comfortable. Walls in rooms are thin so can hear your neighbor too much

The hostel is located quite far from the city centre, but very close to Szechenyi bath. We slept in double bed private room, which was very small, but it was ok for short-time stay. There were some problems that disturbed us - we could hear everything, every movement, every step. There was not proper window, which we couldn't open to let some fresh air in. And also, there was a window to the hall, where the light was on whole night.

I lost my train so I needed a place for just one extra night and close to the train station, so I found Baroque. By the price I thought it would be awful, but it's located inside a beautiful and big manor, bunk bed are tall and stable, every room is clean and spacious with a lot of comfortable common areas and thy have a secret door inside a wardrobe that is simply cool. It might not be the closest to "town centre", but the trains are fast nonetheless. I stayed at another hostel in town before coming here and if I knew about Baroque sooner I would have changed. Really worth it.

The hostel is only 4-5 minutes to Hösök Tere metro station. For me, it is a hostel to rest. If you want to rest at the night without any voice, the hostel is preferable. However, if you want to meet new friends or party people in the hostel, it is not preferable. The internet connection is fast, but there is no breakfast. The receptionist was polite and complaisant. At all, I was happy to stay there.

It is a very clean and cozy place with various amenities. The atmosphere is really nice, the staff is very friendly and approachable, willing to help you any time. They even spend time with us by cooking traditional (Langos!) food and watch movies. They really make you feel like you are at home and not at hostel. I recommend this place to everyone!

Liked: The staff were helpful, and they had a TV and games console with movies and games!

Disliked: Bit far to walk to the centre of Budapest. It seemed as though our private room used to be part of a bigger room which they've shoddily made in to 4 separate rooms
